Box Score EUNICE, La. – LSU Eunice used its proven formula of relentless defense and up-tempo offense to pull away from Delgado CC for a 101-62 victory to close out the regular season on Wednesday inside the HPRE Center. LSUE (18-3) won its 16th straight game, tying a program record that has been set twice.
The Bengals closed out their second consecutive perfect record in LCCAC play, and have won 19 straight conference games dating back to the 2016-2017 season.
LSUE couldn't pull away from Delgado early as the Dolphins would pull within five points, 30-25, in the second quarter. The Bengals would use a small spurt to get the game into double digits at the half, 48-35.
Miya McKinney (Ville Platte, LA, Ville Platte HS) would lead LSUE in the first half with 10 of her 14 points coming before half.
The Bengals would get their lead past 20 points with an 18-6 run to start after intermission. LSUE's lead would swell to more than 40 points thanks to a 14-0 run to close the game.
Le'Shenae Stubblefield (Delhi, LA, Delhi HS) continued her late season success, scoring her third double digit point game in the last four contests. Stubblefield bucketed 12 of her team-high 16 points after half, including seven in the fourth quarter.
JaNaijia Marks (DeRidder, LA, DeRidder HS) (10 points) and
Claralee Richard (Sulphur, LA, Sulphur HS) (10 points) also recorded double digit point games.
LSUE honored seven sophomores before the game in their final home game.

The Bengals now turn their attention to next week's Region 23 Tournament on the campus of Mississippi College from March 5-8. LSUE's first round game will be played Tuesday with the opponent and time still to be determined.
