Box Score SHREVEPORT, La. – LSU Eunice women's basketball used a strong inside game to pave the way to a 98-66 victory over SU-Shreveport on Wednesday.  The Bengals (15-3, 10-1 LCCAC) got 43 points from their post players to cruise to another conference win.
 
LSUE roared out from the start, jumping out to a quick double digit lead after a 23-12 first quarter.  The Bengals post trio of 
Chelsey White (Port Allen, LA, Port Allen HS), 
Tahjea Smith (Texas City, TX, Texas City HS) and 
Tanisha Hester (Houma, LA, Ellender HS) combined for 23 of the team's 48 first half points as LSUE led by 16 at the break.
 
Hester would enjoy her second 18-point outing in the last three games as the freshman led the Bengals in the scoring column.  LSUE would produce six double-digit scoring efforts. 
 
The outside game was paced by 
Abigail Lynch (New Caney, TX, New Caney HS), connecting on three of the team's nine made three-pointers.  The freshman guard would tally 11 points.
 
White and 
Alona Washington (Gonzales, LA, Ascension Christian HS) added 14 points with 
Trinity Harold (Denham Springs, LA, Walker HS) chipping in 13 points and Smith the final of the six double-digit scorers with 10.
 
LSUE will return home for its regular season finale on Saturday against Baton Rouge CC.  The action form the HPRE Center is scheduled to begin at 2:00PM.
