EUNICE, La. – LSU Eunice Athletics officially inducted the 2010 National Championship Baseball team into the Bengals' Hall of Fame during this weekend's annual athletics gala.  The team is the third to have a joint induction, joining the 2006 and 2008 National Championship teams.
 
The capacity crowd enjoyed a buffet-style dinner featuring prime rib donated by Coastal Plains Meat Company.  Patrons participated in silent and live auctions with all proceeds doing directly to the LSUE athletic department.
 
LSUE Chancellor Dr. Nancee Sorenson and LSUE Foundation Executive Director Carey Lawson shared updates on the several projects in both athletics and academics that are on the horizon for the campus.  All athletic teams were also introduced to those in attendance.
 
The Bengals' 2010 baseball team went 52-13 during the season, capturing the school's third NJCAA National Championship.
