BATON ROUGE -- The LSU Eunice Lady Bengal basketball team fell to Baton Rouge Community College 56-68 here Saturday.  

The Lady Bengals had closed to with five points by the end of the third quarter, but Baton Rouge scored 24 points in the fourth period to seal the win.  Most of their points came from free throws.   The Lady Bengals trailed by 11 at the half.

The loss drops LSUE to 3-4 in Miss-Lou Conference play and are 0-3 against Baton Rouge this season.  The Lady Bengals have two conference games left in the season.  

Jaleya Gold (Bolton HS) scored 13 points, and Becca Brooks (Sulphur HS) put up 12 points, all off three-pointers.  Gabrielle Harrington (Erath HS) scored 10. Sydney Hayden (Holden HS), Rylie James (Basile HS), Nicole Kraut (Midland High School) each finished with six points.
