Box Score LITTLE ROCK – The LSU Eunice Lady Bengals lost their final game of the season after falling to Arkansas Baptist College 93-58 here Monday.
Down 48-32 at half, the Lady Bengals could only score eight points in the final period as three of LSUE's players fell into foul trouble. The girls shot 3-for-17 from the floor in the fourth gave up 29 points. LSUE finished with a field goal percentage of only 28.
Rylie James (Basile HS) and
Jaleya Gold (Bolton HS) each ended the game in double digits. James scored 18 and Gold finished with 14. She also seven rebounds and three blocked shots.
Becca Brooks (Sulphur HS) ended her season with two more three point baskets. She ended her sophomore season with 59 three-pointers and 204 in her career, setting a Lady Bengal team record. Brooks also set the school record for consecutive games in row with a three-point basket. She has made a three-point in each of her last 46 games. Her last game without a three-point basket was on November 6, 2015.
Gabrielle Harrington (Erath HS) scored 8 points,
Nicole Kraut (Midland High School) had three, and
Jazmyn Menina (Mandeville HS),
Sydney Hayden (Holden HS) and
Aaliyah Austin (Eastern Oklahoma State College) each had two. Hayden also had seven rebounds.
LSUE ends their 2016-2017 season with a 11-18 record and 4-5 in Miss-Lou Conference play. Arkansas Baptist improved to 11-19.
