LSU Eunice baseball's Tristan Welch capped off a standout summer by earning a spot on the All-Midwest Collegiate League team.  The summer wooden bat league honored 14 players to the squad.
 
Welch belted 7 home runs while driving in 52 runs for the DuPage County Hounds.  The Catholic-Baton Rouge product had a .298 batting average with a .372 OBP and .503 slugging percentage.
 
The outfielder enters his redshirt freshman season at LSU Eunice.
