EUNICE, La. – LSU Eunice Baseball has been recognized with the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) recently announced.  The Bengals are one of 41 junior college programs honored this year.
 
The ABCA awards high school and college programs nationwide that have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2024-2025 academic year.
 
LSU Eunice is one of four college programs in the state of Louisiana to receive the ABCA designation.  It's the ninth straight year the Bengals have received the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award.
 
The team posted 3.42 cumulative team GPA this year, a record for the baseball program.
