Box Score PENSACOLA, Fla. – LSU Eunice secured its third straight shutout of the early season in a 1-0 victory over Andrew College on Sunday at Ashton Brosnaham Park. The Bengals (3-0-0) have outscored opponents 8-0 through their first three matches.
Angelo Fabricio (Jundiai, Brazil, St. Amant HS (LA)) netted the only goal of the game in the 9th minute off an Andrew College turnover. Fabricio forced the giveaway before finishing outside the box on a one-on-one opportunity. It was the sophomore's second goal of the season.
Christian Carrillo (Prairieville, LA, Dutchtown HS) helped secure his third clean sheet with three saves on the afternoon. Andrew College managed only five shots total with three on goal.
LSUE outshot Andrew College, 15-5, putting seven shots on frame. Noah Wagner totaled five shots to pace the Bengals offense, putting three on target.
The Bengals return home for a Saturday doubleheader against Arkansas-Rich Mountain on September 7. The men will play the nightcap of the twinbill with a 7:00PM kick time. Both games will be live streamed on Bengals All-Access.
