EUNICE, La. – LSU Eunice Men's Soccer scored within the first five minutes of the contest and never looked back as the Bengals posted a 5-0 victory over Southwest Mississippi on Saturday at the Bengal Soccer Complex.  It was LSUE's (3-3) second straight five goal shutout this week.

The Bengals would get a total team effort as LSUE saw five different goals assisted or created by five different players.

Alexander Blanche (New Orleans, LA, Lusher Charter HS) put LSUE on the board in the fourth minute, maneuvering through the Bears' defense.  As LSUE was building out of the back line, the sophomore took a
Quinn Farrell (St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Habersham Central HS) pass at midfield and would go the distance for his first goal of the season.

LSUE would put two more goals up just before half as
Alcibiades "Junior" Duran, Jr. (New Orleans, LA, East Jefferson HS). and
Ryan Jeanfreau (New Orleans, LA, Holy Cross HS) would notch their first collegiate goals.  Duran, Jr. received a pass from
Jose Luis Bustamante (Bogota, Colombia, Colegio Andino) in the offensive third, blasting a low screamer from 25 yards out.  In the final ten seconds of the half, Jeanfreau would stuff home a saved shot with tap-in to make it 3-0 LSU Eunice at the break.

The offensive showcase continued in the 59th minute as
Kon Auok (Clarkston, GA, Clarkston HS) delivered a textbook through ball to
Tyler Bridgewater (Darrow, LA, Saint Amant HS), going back post for the tally.
Habib Bakayoko (Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Horizon HS) would end the scoring in the 84th, taking a
Chol Chol (Snellville, GA, Tucker HS) offering at the top of the box and rifling a goal from 20 yards away.

LSUE would put nine shots on frame, limiting Southwest Mississippi to a single shot on goal.
Eddie Roberts (Alexandria, LA, Holy Savior Menard) and
Jakob Morales (Mandeville, LA, Northlake Christian HS) would split a half each in net to secure the clean sheet.

The Bengals head to Ranger College on Sunday, September 18.
