EUNICE, La. – LSU Eunice Softball will see six student-athletes go on to the next level after signing with four-year programs. It's the most for the program since sending eight to four-year schools in 2023.
"We are incredibly proud of our young women for their achievements both on the field and in the classroom," LSU Eunice Softball head coach Meghan Collins said. "This group exemplified the type of leaders we strive to build our program around and I can not wait to see all they accomplish at the next level."
The Bengals send a trio of student-athletes to Mississippi College as
Reagan Rios (Longview, TX, Longview HS),
Kate Rills (Gonzales, LA, East Ascension HS), and
Hadley Lemons (Kinder, LA, Kinder HS) will continue to be teammates with the Choctaws.
The pitching duo of
Cate Nettles (Slidell, LA, Slidell HS) and
Alyssa Boutte (Erath, LA, Erath HS) will make the short trip to LSU-Alexandria, while
McKenna Howell (Pollock, LA, Grant HS) joins the University of Incarnate Word of the Southland Conference.
In the last three years alone, LSU Eunice has seen 16 student-athletes move on to four-year programs.
