Prior to College: A native of Lake Charles, La., Lee attended Barbe High School, where she was a four-time letter winner in basketball and a two-time letter winner in track and volleyball for the Buccaneers. On the court, Lee was named first- team All-District and to the All-Southwest Louisiana team her senior year, while she was also an All-District performer in volleyball and track. Off the court, she was a member of the Student Council and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Her grandfather, John Demarie, played football for LSU and in the NFL for the Cleveland Browns and Seattle Seahawks, while her dad, Jody, and uncles, Paul Demarie and Trent Lee, all played football at McNeese State University. The older of two children with a younger brother, Lee chose to come to LSU Eunice because “it is close to friends and family and has great academics.”
