Biography

As a Freshman (2012-2013): Started 24 games for the Lady Bengals last season, averaging 34.3 minutes per game…Averaged 7.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game…Shot 45 percent from the floor and 38 percent from behind the three-point line…Added 96 assists and 28 steals last season.

Prior to College: A native of Sulphur, La., Richard attended Sulphur High School, where she was a two-time letter winner in basketball for the Tornadoes. On the court, Richard was a first-team all-defensive player and a second-team All-District player her senior year, while she was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes off the court. The older of two children with a younger sister, Richard chose to come to LSU Eunice because “it was a good place to start college.”
