Biography

As a Freshman: Played in all 30 games with one start for the Lady Bengals last season, averaging 17.6 minutes per game…Averaged 6.1 points and 3.5 rebounds per game…Shot 46 percent from the floor …Added 29 steals, seven assists and three blocks last season.

Prior to College: A native of West Monroe, La., Holzmeier attended West Monroe High School, where she was a four-time letter winner in basketball for the Rebels. On the court, Holzmeier was an All-State Honorable Mention during her senior year. Off the court, she was also a member of the Spanish Club. The younger of two children with an older brother, Holzmeier chose to come to LSU Eunice because “I liked the campus and the opportunity to continue playing basketball.”
