Biography

Prior to College: A native of Sulphur, La., Brooks attended Sulphur High School, where she competed in basketball and softball for the Tornados. On the softball field, she was named District MVP and was a first-team All-State selection as a senior. On the court, Brooks was named first- team All-District, first-team All-State and All-Southwest MVP her senior year. Off the court, she was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The youngest of three children with two older brothers, Brooks chose to come to LSU Eunice because “I loved coming to watch the games last year, the environment was so energetic.”
