Biography

Prior to College: A native of Moreauville, La., Marbs attended Avoyelles High School, where she competed in basketball for the Mustangs and played under current LSU Eunice head coach Amanda Clemons. On the court, Marbs was named District MVP, Parish MVP and an All-State player as a junior and a senior. Off the court, she was a member of the SADD club, Drama Club, Beta Club and Explorer’s Club. The middle child of three children with a younger and an older brother, Marbs chose to come to LSU Eunice because “I was given another opportunity, after tearing my ACL in 2011 in the championship games (after which I lost all scholarship offers) to actually step back on the court and do what I love to do and that is playing basketball.”
