Game 1: LSUE 7, BRCC 3
LSU Eunice had to come from behind late in the game to pick up their 43rd win of the season.  Down 2-3 in the fourth inning, the Lady Bengals scored five runs in the final two innings to knock off Baton Rouge in the first game of the doubleheader.

In the sixth inning, the girls put runners on base and Jeannemarie Angelle (Cecilia HS) pinching hitting for Savannah Lejeune (Catholic of Pointe Coupe HS) singled to center field and drove in Bobbi Smith (West Ouachita HS) who tied the game at 3-3.  Molly Wilson (Castor HS) then doubled, scoring Sierra Gasca (West Ouachita HS) and Angelle.

LSUE sealed the win in the seventh inning when Hannah Vidallier (North Vermillion HS) singled and allowing Emily Henderson (North Desoto HS) to score and advanced runners into scoring position.  LeJeune hit a single to center that drove in Maleah Saucedo (Orangefield HS).

Game 2: LSUE 5, BRCC 0
The Lady Bengals batters worked slow and steady in the final game of the doubleheader and scored runs in the second, third and fourth inning while their defense held Baton Rouge to only four hits and no runs.

After going up by one run in the second inning, Wilson started the third inning off with a triple and Skains drove her in on the very next at bat.  Skains then was able to score when Emily Henderson doubled to center field, giving the Lady Bengals a 3-0 lead.

In the fourth inning, the Lady Bengals added two more runs to their total when Ally Howard (Live Oak HS) singled and drove in Angelle.  Wilson then singled, and Mima Doucet (Notre Dame HS) scored.

It was all defense after that.  Both teams were held scoreless.
