Jeannemarie Angelle (Cecilia HS) reached on an error and scored when
Jordan Bishop (Newton County HS) earned a full-count walk to push the Lady Bengals ahead for good.
LSUE exploded for five runs in the bottom of the third frame, aided by a double from
Haley Godeaux (Cecilia HS )and a walk by
Emily Henderson (North Desoto HS)followed by a 2-RBI triple from Smith.
Mima Doucet (Notre Dame HS) grounded out to third, but Smith scored on an infield error as the Lady Bengals pushed ahead, 5-1.
